"Oh I do like to be beside the seaside"
Continuing my tour of the Lincolnshire Seaside Coast.
Continuing my tour of the Lincolnshire Seaside Coast.
Skegness is a popular seaside resort on the east coast of Lincolnshire. Although I live in a seaside resort (Cleethorpes) we decided to visit Skegness on a very sunny but extremely cold day.
There's something intriguing about a seaside resort during the out of season winter months. The crowds of summer visitors are gone and the residents can enjoy their own town in a more leisurely manner.

These street map vending machines are appearing a lot around Lincolnshire. |
As expected, most of the summer businesses were closed and shuttered, I didn't mind
as I wanted to capture the essence of an out of season seaside resort.

Did I say it was cold/ Well it was, this couple found a shelter with views out to the sea. |

Even if this were open I wouldn't be going on it! |
