In the valley at North Ormsby. (2 of 2).

A few more pictures from the Valley at North Ormsby.

"My" tree, from another viewpoint.

Seedheards.

This old tree stump has been slowly decaying for many years.

Not sure what sort of Butterfly this is, or the plant it's on.

The Cow Paresley that clothed this lane a month previous has now gone to seed.
Known around here now as "Dead Man's Fingers".

Poppies at the edge of a fields awaiting the harvest.

Bee on a Thistle.

I had to end this series with a typical Lincolnshire "Big Sky".

  1. Hello David, sure is an interesting valley, looks so peaceful. I always like to see the poppies with their strong colours, something special about them. Also like the bee and butterfly photos and the lovely sky in your final photo.
Hope you have a good week.

  2. We've been visiting this valley for many years, we rarely see anyone else there. Thank you Mike.
