Wolds scenes and views.

We had a drive and a short walk on the Lincolnshire Wolds looking for signs of Spring.

Grainsby Park.

This old Chestnut tree has suffered damage in the past and lost a big bough.

Sheep's wool on a barbed wire fence.

Old corrugated iron barrier on this barn, to contain livestock over winter.

A view from Beesby Top out towards the Lincolnshire coast and the Humber Estuary.

FIRST SIGNS OF SPRING, Celandine buds opening.

Looking from the Lincolnshire Wolds out to the Humber Estuary where large ships can be seen.

SNOWDROPS, Spring wont be long now.

Some overlooked images from Grainsby.

I took these pictures just before the Autumn colours began, and then forgot about them!

A mix of images, from different days & different cameras, taken at Grainsby.

WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY & SAFE NEW YEAR.

The gatehouse from when this was a large country estate.

One of the estate workers cottages.  I used to stop and talk to a retired estate worker
called Dick who lived here.

The lanes of Lincolnshire are popular with cyclists.

Real signs of Autumn everywhere now.
