We had a drive and a short walk on the Lincolnshire Wolds looking for signs of Spring.

I like the Grainsby Park trees at the beginning of your post, lots of character. Good to see some signs of Spring, I haven't seen any snowdrops as yet. We have, though, flowers on our Camellia (Toby's Bush) and on an azalea, also a primrose.
ReplyDeleteLooks an interesting walk. We get the odd bright day but still mostly grey and damp here. Enjoy the week, good wishes.
Thank you Mike, we drove thro' Grainsby again today and the gales yesterday have damaged a few trees but the old one at the start of this post was still intact. Have a good week.
DeleteIt looks like you had the perfect day to be out capturing these great scenes, including sure signs of spring which look very encouraging. It is especially interesting to me seeing the view of the estuary. Seems a perfect combination of rural, industrial and coastal all in one photo. You are fortunate to have such a varied landscape close by. I like the close up of the metal, showing its age and detail. As always, an interesting walk well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann. The views out to the coast can be interesting, especially when a ship appears to be floating along the top of some trees!
DeleteOh sigh. I did enjoy this day out with you, David. Your photos make me very nostalgic for Lincolnshire and the humber estuary is magnificent.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it, thanks for commenting, appreciated.
DeleteHello David, followed you over from Mike's Cornwall - lovely to see the Humber from Lincolnshire. I used to live and work on t'other side, in Hull. Fond memories. Lulu :)
