Hello David, that's an interesting set of photos. I like the Lincolnshire Wolds' pics especially - and the snails, though I don't like to find them in my garden! The stockade looks a bit of a mystery. The Silver Jubilee doesn't seem to be that long ago, time flies. A bit chilly here but no rain thank goodness.

As always, the interesting mix of photos is delightful. I really like the second one with all of the varying textures, reflections and colors. I have been reading but not commenting since we've been traveling away from home. I've seen many, many stockade fences like this recently in New Mexico where they are known as coyote fences and are constructed simply by raw branches, unfinished and merely cut to length. They are interesting to photograph as well. Spring seems to be here at long last, but now it's time for the rainy days and mud. Your Lincolnshire is really lovely in the spring. I'm sure those sheep are pleased with the fresh grass. Take care!

We thought our Spring had come early this year but it was rather short lived, two to three weeks of sunshine and warm days in March but now cold, windy and cloudy. The sheep and cow pastures have a good growth of grass on them though so yes, the sheep are happy and the cows are back in our favourite place, Grainsby Park. That's the sign that summer days are almost here.

What a fascinating mix of photos, David. That airstream is beautiful, I must say, and that stockade is intriguing. It’s nice to see cyclists out enjoying the wolds too because it’s pretty hilly there. The countryside is breathtaking. Thank you again for these gorgeous glimpses into your environs,

DeleteWow, that stockade is amazing David! It reminds me of an epic Game of Thrones episode called 'Hardhome'. I would like one of those, plus the Airstream in my garden, thank you very much ;) Brilliant pictures :) x
ReplyDeleteHi lulu, I have to admit I found the "stockade" rather spooky but, like you, I'd love to have the Airstream. Can't say where it is, the owner gave me permission to photograph it and publish it on my blog as long as I just said it was "somewhere in Lincolnshire"!
