On a rare sunny day we managed to have a drive down to our seafront at Cleethorpes. I got out of the car occasionally to take a few photo's.

Good to see your photos, David. I like the promenade with its pier, amusements and the Mermaid cafe. Reminds me of holidays and trips to the seaside with my parents as a child - happy days. Good wishes.

Great to see the cafe where you used to get your 'engineer's second breakfast' (I'm guessing it was a second breakfast, as one breakfast is never enough when engineering?!?) So I hope to see you on one of those standup paddle boards come summer. Or you could perhaps get a pier donut instead... which sounds much more fun. The station clock and lights are very ornate and lovely :) x
