Popcorn & I had a walk along the Humberston Fitties in January this year. Not many people about but there were some sea anglers having a fishing contest.

| The tide is almost at it's height now but the sandbank still uncovered. Some folk often get marooned on these sandbanks and need to be rescued. |

David, I’m constantly struck by how similar the Lincolnshire coast is to ours here in Zeeland. I love its natural wildness and am glad it isn’t all built up. The Spanish coast has been ruined by development, so it’s a blessing that England and the Netherlands are not as popular and these beautiful stretches exist. Your photos are really lovely!

ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting Val,. Yes I'm pleased our coasts haven't been commercialised for tourism, some areas have large caravan sites but that's all. And of course the climate helps, not quite the same as Spain, thank goodness.
ReplyDeletePopcorn is doing well now he's on preventative medication. The improvement and recovery from the Addisons Desease was dramatic and, although he'll be on medication for the rest of his life, the vets say dogs can live a full and active life on it. He will be regularly monitored with blood tests, I'm so glad he's better now and that I had insurance cover for him.

I am trying to catch up with your photo adventures and I’m so glad to be back as it seems to make things feel normal once again.
