Waithe Lane on a stormy day.

We had a walk along Waithe Lane, it was a day of sunshine and showers.

A panoramic view over the fields from the lane.

Very late flowering Cow Parsley.

Next years cereal crop has germinated in the recent rain showers and sunshine.

In the distance the clouds were building up and rain showers created a rainbow.

Blue sky above but the rain was on it's way towards us.

Poplar trees with more new crops.

The heavy clouds getting closer so we made a hasty retreat back to the car.

We got back just in time, the view through the windscreen tells a story.

Panasonic TZ100 Compact Camera.

  2. You got lucky! Beautiful photos in spite of the rain. I assume the cereal crop is wheat? We call it winter wheat here and it is a beautiful bright green crop. Most of the crops here are soy beans and corn (for livestock food or seed) but it is harvest time and there are lots of combines and other farm machinery on the rural roads which makes it a challenge to get good photos of the fall fields. I enjoy seeing yours. All my best, Ann

    1. Hello Ann, lovely to hear from you. Not sure what the crop will be, around here the farmers raise wheat and Barley. The Autumn colours are good this year.
Do you post your photos anywhere now? I really miss G+, it was a really good platform with lots of nice folk. Take care, David
