1940's Day at the Lincolnshire Wolds (Preserved) Railway. A Romany Caravan.

I go to the 40's Day most years to photograph the folk in their 1940's attire.  This year I concentrated more on some of the static displays of 1940's vehicles etc.

The Romany caravan.

I'm not too sure why this was at a 1940's event but it made a rather good subject to photograph.

Inside the caravan you can see some intricate cut glass mirrors.

Not sure what this can is for.

A rather ornate bird cage.

A closer view of the cut glass mirror.

Detail of the mirror showing a Romany Gypsy cooking over the fire.

Pictures taken on a Panasonic G6 camera with a 14 - 140mm zoom.
