Steam Punks at "The Asylum" 2016. (Set 4 of 4)

These are the last in the series of "Punk Pics" from the 2016 "Asylum" gathering at Lincoln.

"Steam Punk" is a nostalgic look back at a time that never was, based on Victorian dress, ideas
and inventiveness.  Jules Verne's novels are always a source of inspiration for the Steam Punk
fraternity and that's clear to see in this group.  The underwater theme and Captain Nemo of The Nautilus is clearly based on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

One of the many stalls selling Steam Punk items.

This chap, and the next/last image show the true
spirit of "Steam Punk"

The Victorian Steam Punk website defines the movement in great detail but sums it all up by saying....
"Anything goes, have fun, but don't hurt anyone"

Well my son Michael & I certainly enjoyed this, our 3rd visit to
The Asylum, I hope you enjoyed the images.

All pictures taken on my Olympus EM10 camera with a
Panasonic 14 - 140mm zoom lens.
