Donna the Potter. (Set 3 of 3).

For this final set I've returned to images taken in Donna's studio.

A general view of more pottery pieces.

A bust of Donna's father Jack.

This, and the next few pics, are of various characters
created by Donna.

Pottery bird boxes.

This is the "Jolly Fisherman". He's modeled on the full sized
version that is the mascot of Skegness, a seaside town on the
Lincolnshire coast, about 40 miles south of Cleethorpes.

Here he's dancing with his wife, Ma Jolly.  The two bases are modelled to fit together.

This concludes my visit to Donna's Pottery Studio, I really enjoyed my visit.
Thank you Donna, for allowing me in to take a few photo's.

Olympus EM1 Mk2 + 12-100 Pro lens.

(All photo's taken at 1600 ISO).

  1. Have seen the three posts on Donna's pottery - how wonderful they are. I remember the Jolly Fisherman from old posters. Like especially the bust of Donna's father and the bird boxes. Super posts.
