Springtime in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

 Spring scenes.

This and the previous walk  was, by necessity only a short drive from our house.  The current restrictions enable us to go out to exercise but to remain "local".  So, until we can venture further, it will have to be the usual, familiar venues.

Mostly pictures from one of our favourite walks but a couple from our garden.

Celandine.

"John Deere" at the Gatehouse.

New buds.

Leylandii. (In our garden).

A few Daffs in our gardfen.

New leaves on Hawthorn.

Approaching Wold Newton.

All taken on Olympus EM1 Mk2 + 60mm Macro lens.

  1. Good to see your photos, David, what lovely lanes to walk, so neat and tidy and I guess very little traffic. The Spring flowers are always special with promises of new beginnings. Let's hope that we will have more and more freedoms so we can fully enjoy the countryside.

We had some Leylandii in our garden, a while back, but they grew too high so we had to cut them down.

    All good wishes.

  2. Good tobe out and about again Mike. Our Leylandii are in pots so shouldn't get out of hand. If they do they'll be on their way!

  3. I can see why it’s a favorite walk with the wonderful variety of vegetation. All beautifully photographed as usual. Seems that nature is one of the things that helps us from getting totally weary! We hope to travel in the fall, but will wait and see. Take care.

    1. Thank you Ann, always a pleasure to hear from you. It's good to be able to get out but we're not going too far just yet. We got our second Covid vaccination today but finding the confidence to mix near other people will take quite a while. My garden keeps me busy and will soon be full of colour again, more flower pics I'm afraid. I'll try to make them different to last year. Take care.
      David ☺
