Around Wold Newton in Lincolnshire.

Our first walk at Wold Newton since last November.

Some activity at the farm in Wold newton.

This small quarry has been dug out of the Lincolnshire hillside recently to provide
Limestone for a project further along the road.
It shows the Chalky nature of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Plenty of blossom around now.

Primula in the grass verge of the road.

Trees still waiting for their leaves to open.

  1. A beautiful collection to commemorate this walk after so long! I especially love the lighting on the primula. That is gorgeous. You still have the magic touch when it comes to capturing perfect color and light. Well done!

    1. Thank you Ann, it's so good to be able to visit our favourite places again. We've just had a long dry spell but are now getting dull rainy days, good for the garden but putting a stop to our walks.

  2. How good that you've been back to Wold Newton, a lovely set of photos. The white quarry looks very much like some of the china clay works in Cornwall. We need a long spell of sunshine now, though the forecast isn't too great. Good wishes.

    1. Thanks Mike, we're in the midst of cold rain showers just now, as I'm sure you are too.
