A few pics taken at home.

At present I'm finding it difficult to get out due to us both having a few health problems, but today I had a few minutes in our garden to get some flower pics.

Gardening may be a problem for me this year but there's always something popping up from the perennial things so no problem just yet.

I'm hoping to squeeze the occasional post in  but will still follow your posts.

One of our Wood Pigeons, we get a lot since I began feeding them.

Just a general view from our patio.

Looking along the road from our front garden.
(Boring, I know!)

  1. Hello David, sorry to hear your health problems. Interesting to see your neighbourhood and your garden, which looks all neat and tidy. I like your first photo of the pigeon and the red feed tray. Weather mostly dull here at the moment, looks like rain again, so perhaps indoors is the place to be. Take care, hope all goes well and your health problems gradually mend. Best wishes.

    1. The red feed pot is a lid off a Nescafe coffee jar, I had to put it ot as the pigeons tried to get seed out of my bird feeders. We're gradually improving but then have setbacks, I'm hoping for warmer weather soon. That always makes a difference, sunny all of yesterday but back to rain & wind today. We are getting out in the car and I've snapped a few photos but not been able to have a walk in our usual country places..
Thanks for commenting Mike, take care

  2. Like Mike I am sorry to hear you are your wife are having some health problems David. Please take it easy and don't worry about the garden. It is looking super tidy & very lovely in your pictures, but if you find are unable to do the weekly jobs, it will still grow and be happy, and the wildlife will still love it. Now that Cushie Doo has a jolly good deal! We have a couple of wood pigeons that have been picking the young elderflower buds and leaves off - it seems to be like caviar to them! :) x

  3. Your garden, and the way you capture the colorful details is delightful in every way. I don’t think I’ve seen a wood pigeon close up, but it is a handsome bird, particularly seen in this context. As always, your colorful photos are a pleasure and I’m encouraged that spring might eventually arrive. Be well and take good care. Surely the sun will come out soon! Ann K.

    1. Thank you Ann, I hope you're keeping well. Spring keeps threatening to appear here, we had sunshine and 16 degrees a day or two ago but today is dull, damp and cold again. Take care, David.
