Lambing time in Lincolnshire.

These ewes and lambs were very friendly, sheep usually run away when you get near them.  I took quite a few pics and usually edit a few out but decided to put them all into this post.

  1. I like to see the lambs every year. As usual a great set of photos, I like the close-ups especially. As I look out of my window it doesn't look much like Spring - dull and raining. Hope you have a good week.

    1. Similar weather here Mike, although I guess a bit colder than you. Thanks for commenting, the lambs always cheer me up. 😊

  2. This is the perfect spring post, a stellar collection of beautiful lamb photos! The 6th and 7th are especially delightful and there is truly something special about the composition of the 6th in particular. I can’t quite pinpoint what it is, but it is clearly my favorite. Well done!

    1. Hi Ann, Thanks for your comments, always appreciated. I hope you are keeping well. This was such a good photo opportunity, as I said in the text, sheep usually back off or even run away. I think these ewes/lambs thought I'd come to feed them with the supplementary nuts that farmers give them in Spring.
My favourite is pic number 7 with the ewe feeding her twin lambs. I had a great time and took a lot of photo's.
      Thank you, David.
