The third and final part of this set.

Staff meeting.

A London and North Eastern Region railway poster.

As a retired BT telephone engineer I had to take this.  The equipment in this K6 box
was well before my time though!!

Waiting for the next train to arrive.

Also waiting!

They're waiting!

Beginning to wonder where it is now!

These men in "high vis" jackets have paid for track-side photo passes and they're waiting too!
The train is just coming into sight in the far distance.

Still a long way down the line, the reason for the delay is now apparent.  The train has stopped for more
photographers with passes to allow them to get their pictures.
(This image taken at the 600mm end of the zoom on my Panasonic FZ150 camera)

The train finally arrives at the station and has stopped again for this group.

I can now get my picture too!

Detail from "Birkenhead" at Ludborough station.

Plate on the side of "Birkenhead".

"Birkenhead" alongside Ludborough station.  This is the other end of the train everyone was waiting
for.  The LWR were running trains with a loco on both ends to enable photographers each end of
the line to get photo's of engines pulling the trains into the stations.  They don't yet have a turntable
and this makes full use of the visiting loco's and avoids running a train in revers in one of the directions.

All pictures for this set were taken on my Panasonic FZ150 camera.
