A few Snow Scenes (Part 2 of 3)
The village of Brigsley & Waltham Windmill site.
This thatched cottage stands in the main street at Brigsley and is probably the most photographed cottage in northern Lincolnshire. |
Waltham windmill close to Brigsley is a 6 sailed post mill, built in 1666, restored in recent years it is fully operational and open to the public in the summer months. |
Within the grounds of Waltham Windmill is this miniature railway run by the Grimsby Model Engineering Society. They give rides around the large track on Bank Holidays. |

Willingham Woods.
Willingham Woods is a fairly local Forestry Commision wood where we take our dog Suzi for walks. It's also a popular meeting place for the motor biking fraternity to meet up.
