Different days, places and views.

We've had a few short drives out recently and I've "bunched" the photo's together to make one post.

A lane at Humberston, an attractive old barn once existed to the left of the central tree but
it had to be demolished a few years ago.

I'm always fascinated by odd leaves that manage to cling on right thro' the winter.

New leaves emerging into the Spring.

A favourite tree in the valley at North Ormsby.

Fences, it's an obsession of mine.

Wild Campion.

Rape coming into flower.

Wild Garlic... see picture below.

The whole of the hillside to the left is wild Garlic and will soon been in flower.

Another favourite tree with Autumn sown  cereal crops beginning to flourish.

Between Yarbough and Alvingham, see next pic.

An old Lincolnshire barn converted to cottages quite a fewe years ago.
I installed telephone service to one or two of these cottages at the time.

A familiar sight now along the Lincolnshire coast.

This large wind turbine was constructed by a local land owner.

A railway bridge on the redundant Great Northern Railway.

Chalk stream at Alvingham.

Only a drainage dyke but very attractive all the same.

Common Orchid, the grass verge along the road was full of wild flowers, see next pic too.

Cowslip.

The coastal strip lives up to Lincolnshire's reputation of being " flat & boring".

North Promenade, Cleethorpes.

A walk along the Promenade in my home town of Cleethorpes, on a dreary Tuesday afternoon.  Lighting not too good and most of the businesses closed but we had the place mostly to ourselves.

A cargo vessel heading out of the Humber Estuary.

One of the new litter bins.

Nail Bar and general beauty therapies, I had a broken nail when I took this but, as they were
closed I had to sort it out myself!  A couple of minutes with a file in my garage soon sorted
it out and saved me some money!

The Mermaid Cafe, a Victorian structure.

My Garden so far in 2022.

I've taken a leaf out of Lulu's blog, "Long Mizzle Garden" see link below.

 Long Mizzle Garden.

by doing a "cuppa walk" around my garden photographing what's happening so far.

The nursery area, with "Joey" my Tortoise near his garden house.

The first Clematis flower of 2022.

Geranium.

Calendular around my Dwarf Buddleia.

Calendula's are a favourite of mine, I make no excuse for including so many pics of them.

Salix buds unfurling.
