1940's Day at the Lincolnshire Wolds (Preserved) Railway. The Fire Engine.

This lovely old fire engine was used by the Lincolnshire Fire Brigade and was still in service until the mid 1960's.

Louth.

We visited Louth yesterday, one of our favourite places in Lincolnshire.

Looking down the side of St. James church, the Market Clock Tower can be seen in the distance

The markey Place and Clock Tower.

St. James seen from Gospelgate.

A liitle cottage in Gospelgate.

Not sure what model this Vauxhall is but I'm sure
someone can tell me.

A lovely old Chevy step-side pickup.

"The Asylum", more characters from this "mad" event.

In the last set from "The Asylum" a lady asked us to look out
for her daughter dressed as a Ringmaster.  We found her later,
without too much difficulty!

We met these two the last time we visited this event a couple of years back.

The day was very hot and this man must have found it quite uncomfortable under his glass
dome headgear!

His "gun" bears a striking resemblance to a plumber's blowlamp and some light fittings!
