Some "Dog Walk" pictures.

Taken recently during the lovely Spring weather.

Though it was warm & sunny the horses still had their coats on.

The Hawthorn leaves are opening.

Great to see blue skies again.

Silver Birch.

Daffodils are everywhere.

Blackthorn blossom.

Regular blog viewers will know about my obsession with posts/fences.

  1. Very fine pictures David and such incredible detail on them. Those are handsome bricks, with fabulously trimmed hedges. How beautiful the silver birches and blackthorn blossoms look against the blue sky. Always good to see a post / fence shot too ;) I just discovered t 'other day that young emerging Hawthorn leaves are edible. I may try some in a salad this weekend, if I survive the thorns :0 ;) :)

    1. Thanks for commenting Lulu, always appreciated. I didn't know that young Hawthorn leaves are edible, I believe Nettles are too. Wouldn't like to try either though! Enjoy what's left of the Bank Holiday.

  2. Good to see the blue sky complimenting your walks - such attractive scenery. The weather man has promised a pleasant week ahead. Very busy in Cornwall with visitors at the moment. Have a good week.

    1. I can imagine how busy it is down there Mike, we haven't been down to our seafront over the Bank Holiday. Hazy sun here but with a damp chill in the breeze. I suspect we had a sea fret early morning, judging by the sound of fog horns coming from the big tankers moored in the mouth of the Humber Estuary.
Have a good week, I'm sure that, like us, you know the places the visitors aren't aware of! 😊
