The village of Waltham.

Waltham is a large village and civil parish in North East Lincolnshire, England. It is 4 miles (6 km) south of Grimsby close to the suburb of Scartho

Until recently we haven't been venturing into the town but decided this day to try a short walk around the village of Waltham.  I got a bit carried away and took quite a few photo's, here's just 23 of them.

This pub has the best display of hanging baskets in our area.

A view across the village green.

On Remembrance Day people gather here.

Agapanthus & Hollyhocks.

These people gave me their permission to include them in my photo.

The Kings Head.

An old cottage, possibly the oldest dwelling in Waltham.

The High Street.

  1. Not a wonder to get carried away for the village looks delightful. The variety of architecture is very interesting and the day looks rather normal with people milling about without masks. These photos would make a wonderful brochure promoting the town! As usual you have captured the color and beauty of the area. Well done, David.

    1. It was strange to be around other people, I kept my distance, but at least I got some pictures from a different area. Thank you Ann.

  2. What a delightful village this is - and great to see a village green. The whole village looks so neat, clean and tidy, as should be. Lovely photos, David, which give a real feel of Waltham.
