A new Barber's shop has recently opened in our neighbourhood. It's very bright and colourful so, of course, I had to go and photograph it. I was given permission to take a few pics inside too and to put them on my Blog.

The sign above the shop is illuminated and very colourful, there's even a rotating barbers pole. |

The Barber allowed me inside which was really bright and impressive too. |

We have a several of these style Barbers in St. Austell - all of them are Turkish and very flash. They seem miles away from how barbers were when a child, with a chair with a plank of wood across the chair arms. The world moves on.
ReplyDeleteYes, I remember the plank across the chair arms and the itchy neck afterwards! Take care Mike.
DeleteWow, that’s colourful indeed, David. Very luxurious! What a grand place for a haircut! I’m not sure I would go for all those different patterns in one room as it’s not so restful. Mind you, the French love their clashing patterns, so I’m quit used to seeing them now.
ReplyDeleteThese Turkish Barber shops are all over the place now, not somewhere I would go but make good photo opportunities. Thanks for commenting Val, David and Popcorn.
