Bradley Village.

Bradley is a small village on the outskirts of Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire.

We visited it on a dull November afternoon.

St. George's Church in Bradley.

A new  development of houses in a former farmyard.

The view across the fields from the houses.

These houses have been built in the style of barn conversions.
We used to visit this farm in the autumn to buy apples.

Bradley Manor.

Horses in a paddock

This one thinks the grass is greener over the fence.

A view down one of the lanes.

Another view into the garden at the Manor.

A Victorian post box.

A grand old house, I was really attracted to the lovely chimney stacks.

A bit of Autumn colour.

This is the main road into Bradley.

Graffiti or "Street Art?"

These pictures were taken back in August.

I saw some "art works" on the garden wall of a house in Cleethorpes.  Not exactly graffiti by vandals, but quite interesting.  It's a collection of images/posters from the Marvel Comics genre plus a few messages.  I've studied the text and pictures quite closely but if I missed anything unsuitable that may cause offence then I apologise.

(?)

The walls have since been painted over but, the graffiti has begun again!

Out & about again.

I took these photo's back in August, a few weeks before my operation.

A few images from a short drive out.

The Tilted Barrel public house in Waltham village.

It always has a splendid show of hanging baskets.

Waltham Windmill.  One of only a few 6 sailed mills remaining  in
the country.

An old railway carriage, converted to an ice cream shop.

At the windmill site is a miniature railway run by the Grimsby & District
Model Engineering Society.

All Saints Church, Thorganby.

Following on from the last post at Swinhope & Thorganby, on the same visit I photographed the village church.

The little Church of All Saints, tucked away at Thorganby in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Swinhope & Thorganby.

I took these photo's way back in May this year.

Swinhope & Thorganby are two adjacent areas in the Lincolnshire Wolds.  Only a few scattered houses in either of them.

A view down to the Binbrook road from Swinhope.

Winding farm track in the valley.

A house peeping out beyond the cereal crops and, of course, my favourite Cow Parsley.

The weather was a bit "iffy" but did provide some drama and interesting skies.

The little church down in the valley at Swinhope, I hope to visit it some time.

The cottage that was peeping out in an earlier picture.

At Thorganby these old farm buildings have been renovated and made into holiday cottages.
