New camera photo's.

I'm finding it increasingly harder to carry my DSLR + Lenses these days so I've bought a small compact camera for my day to day photography.  I still have my "proper" camera equipment but intend to use the compact mainly.

I took it out to one or two local places to try it out, you'll probably be familiar with most of the locations.

The Crown & Anchor pub, shown in my Louth Canal series.

Enjoying the seafront at Cleethorpes.

Tidying up after the Donkeys.

he Mermaid Café, a listed Victorian building.

  1. These are a clear example of ‘It’s the photographer, not the camera’, David. These are lovely! I see it’s a Panasonic. I have one of those too. The TZ70, but I confess I often use my phone these days because it’s even lighter!

    1. Thank you Val, my mobile phone is very old and does well to make calls & texts! I was considering a new phone to use for photo's too but I'm told the zoom on them isn't too good yet. 😊 🐕 🐢

  2. I don't think most of us, who follow your blog, would have realised that you had changed your camera for these photos. The photos are, as usual, excellent. I like especially the seafront pics they take me back to childhood and a coach ride to the seaside. Such excitement when the sea came into view. Hope your week is going well.

  3. That's good to hear Mike, thank you. I'm not a fanatical photographer but I hoped this new camera would be decent enough. It's certainly a whole lot lighter and more convenient.
Living at the seaside my childhood memories are of Sunday School coach outings. Looking out along the way as houses became fields and the the first sight of cows. 😊 🐕 🐢
