Summer arrived in Cleethorpes today! I walked Popcorn along our promenade and took a few snaps on my mobile phone.

So that is where the sun went! Looks a very pleasant walk, bet Popcorn had fun. Very grey here in Cornwall today, though the rain has stayed away so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Mike. I've noticed the west of the country is getting a bit of cloud and rain. I'm getting out of the house at any opportunity but only locally as I'm too tired to drive out if town. Any new pics will be around the areas where our visitors go, but I do have some from a couple of months ago that I took when my daughter could sit with her mum. Not sure I can deal with them just yet.
DeleteDear David, it’s good to see you here again. I’ve thought of you often in the past weeks wondering how you were coping. These are lovely photos of a bright, colourful day. I’m sure Popcorn enjoyed the walk. Look after yourself!
ReplyDeleteThank you Val for your kind comments and concerns. I'm taking each day as it comes but find the whole situation unreal. I don't feel confident enough to drive out into the countryside so we, that's Popcorn and I, have lots of walks along the seafront and around Cleethorpes. Popcorn enjoys this.

I can imagine how unreal it must feel and am very glad you have Popcorn. A dog’s love is a huge comfort. As you say, take it one day at a time.
