Louth Garden Centre at Christmas. (Part 1 of 2).

I visited the Garden Centre at Louth and they kindly allowed me to photograph their Christmas display and to post the pictures on my blog.  I took quite a few so have split them into two sets.

This display had a fireplace telling a story.

A roaring fire in the grate.

Some naughty elves abseil down the chimney with fire extinguishers.

They try to put the fire out.

I didn't expect to feature any dogs in this post but was pleased to be proved wrong!

A few posts ago I mentioned that my wife Carole often paints

watercolour paintings based on my photographs.  A lady blog

viewer (who will know who I refer to) suggested I feature some

of Carole's paintings on the blog.

The following pictures are of my dog Suzi & a rabbit

I spotted out in the countryside, plus a local chip shop.

No, not E.T.   This is Suzi having been bathed.  Not happy!

More recently, I had a compact on loan from my local camera shop and I managed

to catch Suzi asleep.  (It's not difficult!)

I spotted this rabbit enjoying some December sun rays in his/her garden.

Donna the Potter. (Set 3 of 3).

For this final set I've returned to images taken in Donna's studio.

Pottery bird boxes.

This is the "Jolly Fisherman". He's modeled on the full sized

version that is the mascot of Skegness, a seaside town on the 

Lincolnshire coast, about 40 miles south of Cleethorpes.

Here he's dancing with his wife, Ma Jolly.  The two bases are modelled to fit together.

This concludes my visit to Donna's Pottery Studio, I really enjoyed my visit.

Here we see Donna "throwing a pot" from start to finish.
