Barton Creek (1 of 2)

Barton Creek is at Barton on Humber and is a place I visit quite often.  Here are a few images from my latest visit.

This creek was once a busy wharf but has become silted up over the years since it became unused.
It's now used by the boat builder and repair yard on the left. 

In the background is the Humber Bridge.

The building in the distance on the right is "The Waterside Visitor Centre".  Here you can
get information about the extensive wildlife in the area and, in the Spring, watch various
birds on their nests via the live cameras located around the area
