My wife enters her paintings into this exhibition and I usually take a few photographs around the church and at the nearby "Tithe Farm". I've posted pictures from there in the past so, this time I looked for something a bit different.

This is part of Rob's collection of farm machinery & tools at the "Tithe Farm".
The threshing machine is a recent new addition but the pigeons were perching on it
and leaving their droppings on it. Rob bought a tin Owl with rotating head and placed
it on the thresher and that kept them away.

Owl on duty, it's head moves around as the wind turns it, very lifelike too. |

Love that owl! I read a little about the Festival on the Internet, looks interesting. Does your wife sell her paintings or are they just exhibits for the festival? Great photos as per usual.
ReplyDeleteHope you have still have some sunshine, it seems to have disappeared here!
My wife sells painting occasionally. Cooling a bit here but still sunny (between rain showers) .
ReplyDeleteYour floral photos are outstanding! Such beautiful clarity and colors! You should do a post on your wife’s paintings sometime.
