Wonderful pastoral scenes and what an incredible tree! I’ve been reading that England is losing many of its great old trees. The final photo is so dreamlike it could start a great story all on its own. Well done, David, as always!
Yes, we've lost a lot of trees here. First with Dutch Elm disease, then Ash Dieback and more recently a parasitic moth that weakens our Horse Chestnut trees. Thanks for your lovely comments Ann, always appreciated.
Hi Mike, the cottage is one that gets overlooked by photographers, being in a secluded place. During Covid I've been photographing trees and I'm looking forward to Autumn colours and then winter when they lose all their leaves. Thanks for commenting, appreciated.

Trees are such a good subject and your photos are excellent. A beautiful thatch as well. Agree with Ann regarding your final photo. Have a good week.
