Austin 7

While I was waiting for my wife, with Suzi in the car, along came this super little Austin 7.  The owner parked it right next to my car so, as I always carry a camera, I asked if I could photograph it.  He was more than willing to let me, I got the impression I wasn't the first person ever to ask him!

What a cracker of a car, it has an electric starter but the owner told me in the event of a flat

battery the starting handle still works.  It has electric indicators to comply with MOT but it

retains it's trafficater lift up indicators as well. 

The tax disc is only slightly out of date!

A super little car, the only thing to spoil my pictures is my old red Honda Jazz alongside.

I suppose my car isn't so old after all. :-)

A popular little café in the alleyway that links Mercer Row with the Market Place.

(In other words, I've forgotten it's name"!) 

Pawnshop Passage is well known in Louth, it links Mercer Row with an enclosed, rather

intimate little area of shops.  This area can be seen at:

These establishments are springing up all over the UK.  Not to my taste but, apparently,

they can be a life saver!

We've been visiting the Lincolnshire market town of Louth for many years and it's hard now to find new pictures there.  These are views of Louth that we missed all those other times.

Along Westgate, the recess would have had a metal bar across it as it was a Boot scraper.

An obliging lady in a red coat just happened along.

(Sometimes I'm lucky).

Many houses along Westgate have basements.

Old gates at the King Edward V1 Grammar School.
