| Lincolnshire was known as "Bomber County" during WW2 and 617 Squadron, based at Woodhall Spa was the famous "Dambusters". This is the Bomber Command Memorial Statue up on High Cliff in Cleethorpes which depicts a pilot looking out to sea. |
