"The Asylum" 2017. Steam Punk Event at Lincoln. First set of images.

"The Asylum" is thought to be the largest gathering of Steam Punk enthusiasts in the world.  Certainly colourful, it's a wonderful event to see.

This first set of images is of some of the colourful characters from the Steam Punk fraternity.

There was a falconry display and the Faulkner

was in Steam Punk attire.  

The octopus is a tribute to Jules Verne's novel 20,000 Leagues Under Sea.

Probably the most colourful characters on the day.
