What a beautiful day you had for Suzi’s walk. I love the tunnel of trees over the lane. It looks like there is a harvested field, but I am struck by how lush and green the landscape still is so late in the autumn. You’ve captured the colors and light beautifully. I’ve been wondering if your camera club still meets or is that off limits during the pandemic? I’m grateful everyday to have a dog to walk. It is at least one thing to do. Suzy must be a very good walking companion that you can manage a camera at the same time!
Several things to answer here but first, thank you for your comments, you know I always appreciate them. I took these last week and the colours still hadn't really got started then, they are now but we have gales so it wont be long 'til the trees are bare. Our camera club closed in March and we don't know what the future holds, just now England is set to go back into (almost) full lockdown again, from next Thursday for 4 weeks when it will be reviewed. The number of people contracting Covid has suddenly rocketed and, sadly so too have the number of deaths. Since closing, my Camera Club has not arranged any alternative activities, but my son Michael's club has been running two Zoom meetings a week with "visiting" speakers and I was invited to join in, so at least I have some way to feel connected. It's actually quite good, no need to go out on a cold evening, and I can make a cup of tea etc. We've been taking Suzi out into the countryside for a while now (still not mixing with people or going into shops etc) and I have to admit it's kept me sane at times. If we didn't have a dog we might not have gone out, certainly not now the weather is cold & wet. Last point to answer no, Suzi is not a good camera companion. At the precise point of taking a photo she will yank my arm and cause some unwanted "intentional camera movement"! But I wouldn't have it any other way, a walk without a dog is not a proper walk. Keep safe Ann, I think we've a while to go yet.
A lovely walk with Suzi. Sadly lockdown from Thursday, as you have mentioned in your reply to Ann. I guess we will still have our daily 'exercise' walk, our son has already volunteered to do our supermarket shopping. Anyway, got to keep smiling, take care, all good wishes.

I'm almost out of new pictures now, although I have a few for editing. Might limit them to two or three per post to make them last. Take care Mike.
