Following on from my last post, today Popcorn & I went to see an art installation on Cleethorpes Beach promoted and supported by many groups including La Cona.
Today was typical Bank Holiday weather. Overcast, sunny at times, windy with a threat of rain!

The beach area near the new (almost completed) RNLI Lifeboat Station was a blaze of colour from hundreds of flag pennants.

Each flag represented a beach or part of the UK coastline and the project was to promote our appreciation and enjoyment of the sea & coast.

Another view from further out on the beach showing the our new Lifeboat Station and also "The Point", an apartment block up on a promontory called "High Cliff". (Not very high at all!)

The flags continued along the beach and made a colourful display on a sometimes dull day.
