The village of Somersby is in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds and is where the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson was born.
It's little more than a few houses and the church but attracts people coming to see where he was born.

The visitor can see how the church has been altered over the years by the mix of stone and later brickwork. Repairs to the roof were in progress at the time this was taken. |
