Sunday Walk (Final Part)

The second part of our walk took us along the road from the village of Tealby to the Hamlet of Tealby Thorpe.  Here there are just a few scattered dwellings and a ford which vehicles once drove along but erosion of the stream bed has made it too deep for all but farm vehicles.

A battered, late Hollyhock flower.

Tealby lies on the Viking Way long distance footpath.

This is the ford at Tealby Thorpe.

Rain approaching over the Wolds.
