Film Scans from my Archives. (Set 1).

During the latest "Lockdown" I'm unable to get out & about so I looked into my archives and found an old CD with a few scanned slide and negative film images.

(Apologies if I've used these pics in earlier blog posts.)

Beesby Wood, in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Bradley Woods, near Grimsby.
This was a popular technique back in the day,
smearing an old UV filter with Vaseline.

Frozen Saltwater Lagoons at the Humber Mouth
Yacht Club on a foggy Boxing Day.

Taken many years ago, no Exif details to fall back on but I'm fairly
confident these pics were taken on an Olympus OM1n + 35-75 Zuiko lens.

  1. Makes an interesting post, David. I didn't know of that use for Vaseline - though I prefer the Beesby Wood photo.

    Take care.

  2. You made good choice to share, each a lovely and interesting photo in its own right. The purple flowers are amazing! I haven’t been out with my camera for ages and I probably should keep shooting for I know my skill is rusty by now. We are still staying at home and only venturing out for an occasional drive or walk with Axle. Stay safe!
