Aspects of Louth. (Part 3 of 3)

Miscellaneous premises in Louth.

The Wheatsheaf in Westgate.

Westgate Gardens.

A popular cafe on Upgate.

Seen on Newmarket.

Adjacent to Louth Cattle Market, very popular with the farmers on market days!!

On the corner of Ramsgate.

Redundant signal box and railway crossing gate on Keddington Road close to Louth
Railway Station.  This was once the East Coast line from Grimsby to london via
Peterborough but was closed, along with many others, as part of the "Beeching Plan".

The box is being restored and has had a lot more work
done to it since these pictures were taken.

The industrial estate on the site of the old Louth Railway Station.
In the background is the redundant maltkiln which has stood
empty for many years now.  It is a well known landmark in
Louth and can be seen from many miles away across the
Lincolnshire Wolds.

The old Railway Station can be seen on the left in the distance.

A pub with a most unusual name!!!
All pictures in these 3 sets taken on a Panasonic G5 camera.
