Doddington Hall Sculpture Exhibition, 2014. (Part 2 of 6)

More pictures from the 2014 Sculpture Exhibition.

Rather unsettling but stunning in it's detail!!

In The Great Hall, this exhibit was called "The Banquet".  Quite impressive to see.

Just a couple of the items, made, cast, formed in plaster of paris.

One of the star attractions, this is "The Corkscrew".  A complicated piece, on turning the
handle the mechanism starts to turn and a cork is extracted from a wine bottle, the bottle
is then lifted and inverted and it's contents are then poured into a glass!
Unfortunately, on the day we visited there was a problem with it so we never got to see it
in action!

Two more pieces in the Great Hall.

There were quite a few exhibits in this "Warrior" style.

I liked this Aadvark (?)

One of my all time favourite jazz musicians was the late Sir John Dankworth CBE.  I think he
might have found this exhibit rather interesting.

Boxing hares.

My reason for taking this picture was to show how nature can always impress.

Part of a giant Galapagos tortoise.

I liked this little Elephant under the giant Hornbeam trees.

More images from this set will follow next week.
