Kingston Upon Hull. The Old Town and some Alleyways.

Although I was impressed by the diverse mix of old and new architecture in Hull it was the Old Town that I found the most interesting.  Here, and in the next (last) post are a few images from that quarter.

Most of this area has original cobbled roads.

Son Michael + camera club friend in the distance.  I'm lagging behind again!

One of many little alleyways or "Ginnels".

Along this ginnel I came across this old doorway that had been
bricked half way up!

More modern cobbles or "sets" in this area.

Son Michael waiting for me again.

Original post box dating back to the reign of Queen Victoria.
