Foggy in the Park.

A few images in the park on a recent foggy day.  Freezing Fog.

This is the "Sensory Garden", originally planted with plants that were either tactile
and textured to the touch or had a strong scent.  It was for partially sighted people to
enjoy and each plant had a brail nameplate.
The park & garden was opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth II in her Silver Jubilee year, 1977.
Unfortunately, over the years and with a little help from vandals, the sensory plants have gone
so, the whole thing was replanted by Agricultural Students at the Grimsby College with
plants that could withstand drought conditions.  Sign of the times in many ways.

Children's Playground, no kids today so safe to take a few snaps.

This one is best in colour.

  1. I like the moody atmosphere of these photos, very expressive. I've not been able to take many photos in foggy conditions, but these inspire me to try. I especially like how you have made certain elements of some of the photos to be such a pure black. Excellent compositions all around, David and you are right that the final shot needs to be in color. It's lovely.
