Lincolnshire Wolds Tractor run 2023 (Part 2)

Continuing on from part one, further pictures from the Wolds tractor run.

This tractor was a real monster.

This chap renovated and restored this old tractor.

Another lovely dog.

At around 11am all the participants began to drive out of the farmyard for a drive
through the Lincolnshire Wolds to raise money for Marie Curie Nurses.

This tractor was very powerful.

As they pulled away it gave off lots of smoke.

A few pics of happy people about to go out on the run.

These were the last few tractors to leave.

And they've all gone.

The burger vendors gave me a wave.

Perhaps this is a " doo er upper" for next year's run?

Or maybe this is for a junior entrant?

  1. What a great procession of tractors and characters - and dogs of course. A lovely post, David, as usual. All the best.

    1. Thanks for commenting Mike. It was an unusual event and a good test for my new Z50 Nikon camera.

  2. What a lovely riot of colour and activity. Those tractors look like great fun to drive. Wonderful photos David!

I had spotted a 'Tractor Ploughing Match' advertised locally but I couldn't make it in the end, which is a shame, as it sounded pretty bonkers :)

    1. I would like to visit a ploughing match, especially where they have pairs of heavy horses pulling the ploughs. There are several such events around Lincolnshire so must look out for one
Thanks for commenting Lulu, take care.
