  1. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos of Mablethorpe High Street! The City Of Gold has now changed hands, and sadly no longer has the giant beared man coming out of the building. The high Street always looks so welcoming during the summer months.

    1. Thank you for commenting. I agree, it's a really friendly sort of place, I used to work for BT as a telephone engineer and really looked forward to getting jobs there.

    2. Hello from soggy Southampton ! It's been raining SO often, but yesterday we had sun... " Wont last! " said my ""better half"...And sure enough, more rain today ! 😊☂️πŸ’¦Anyway, the reason I'm here is : an item on the Net says Mablethorpe was voted worst holiday / seaside town in England .....πŸ€”....well, from the many photos here, it doesn't look too bad at all ! Best Wishes.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘☂️πŸ’¦πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

    3. Hello and thanks for you're comment. Mablethorpe is a lovely, small traditional seaside resort on along the coast of Lincolnshire, without the crowds and problems associated with resorts such as Blackpool. Along with Skegness and Cleethorpes on this bit of coast they are very popular for folk who want a more relaxing seaside holiday. Thanks again, David and Popcorn
