Views along the top of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Nettleton - Claxby - Beelsby.  A drive along the top of the Wolds.

A few views from above Nettleton Village.

Looking over the Lincolnshire valley towards Lincoln.  Mist in the distance, on a clear day
Lincoln Cathedral can easily be seen from here.

A few pregnant Yews to finish with.

  1. The Wolds are wonderful. I can't get enough of the English countryside! I want to cuddle a sheep. Do they let you cuddle them? Lovely photography!

    1. The lambs might let you cuddle them but the mother yews are very protective and might charge at you! Not to worry though as a lot of open farms allow the public to go in to feed (and cuddle) orphan lambs that are being bottle fed, and they have no objection. Thanks for your comments, always enjoyed. 😊

    1. Lincolnshire.is known for its "big skies" that stretch from horizon to horizon, only the Wolds break the views. When you're on the top of them then you can see for miles on a clear day, about 25 miles. Thanks for your comments Ann.
