  1. You put me to shame, afraid our garden isn't so good this year. I blame the weather and the fact that we had our house painted, but really we just haven't looked after our garden as previous years. You have some lovely plants, David. Very uplifting. All good wishes ~ Mike.

    1. Thank you Mike, I have to say the photo's make my garden appear better than it might be. I avoided some of the not so good bits.
      Take care, David

    2. Our son gave gave us some plants early this year and one of them was a Holly hock. Was amazed how high it grew and all of the flowers. I think it must have grown to over 8 feet and it still has pink flowers now - Mike.

    3. The Holly Hock plants I bought were sold as a dwarf variety, only supposed to to 36 inches max. These must have reverted to type, or some seeds got mixed up. David

  3. Your garden is wonderful! We have so much heat and drought, flooding rains, deer and extreme freezes, and it makes growing perennials very challenging. I’m delighted to get a peek at your garden! Best wishes and happy gardening. Ann

    1. Good to hear from you Ann, hope you're well. I can imagine how Deer could be a problem in your garden, we get the occasional fox but it's the slugs & snails that do the most damage. David.
